Mr. Badri's (RSoft Founder and CEO) grandfather - R. Deiva Thiru. Subbarayalu - sparked off the genesis of a brand that delivered small and medium business marketing and sales improvement through a local telephone directory called "Sumathi Vazhikati ''. A massive success, the directory became a commonplace item found under every telephone and evolved to become a "Google of Dindigul'' of sorts.
1963
Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Badri's father, introduced "Sumathi Vazhikati" to the computer offset system in the early 1990s and was the first in Tamil Nadu to publish the Telephone Directory via "Desktop Publishing".
Inspired by him, Mr. Badri mastered computer hardware and software, eventually becoming the first person in Dindigul to use the internet and introduce the first telephone directory website, "Sumathi Vazhikati", to the world.
1980 - 1995
Come 1995, Mr. Badri took the helm of the company and wrote the first line of code that fetched a single record from 20000+ records within a fraction of a second. From there started the development of ground-breaking software solutions and products.
1995 - 2005
Mr.Badri worked for various MNCs like Sage Software, Blind Matrix and Sutherland to understand the software lifecycle process and the know-how for developing world-class software.
2005 - 2012
RSoft is re-established as a Private Limited Firm.
